If it would have normal Mac OS X then it would fail like the slate from HP. This is because just like windows 7, OS X is not designed for touch screen.

A notebook more bang for the buck? Really? It’s not compareable and as always, Apple products are not about specifications. This is not gonna be your main computer but your main thing for on the couch.

hmm, hp mini is a netbook, i was talking about a proper laptop but hey try out the iPad and tell us what you think, post a video response

i have a hp mini but it takes a long time to turn on and that could be a pain in the ass

if your going to spend that much money on this device you may as well buy a laptop because you will most likely get more bang for your buck, especially if you want lots of storage.

and do you think i should get one you now its a lot of money but dont want to get the 500 one i wont be able to fit as much movies and thats one 0f the main resons i am geting it

i dont think the lines at the store will be as long as when the iPhone came out but there will be a few apple fanboys who will go and buy it on the 1st day. I dont think it will be sold out though.

i dont get why evry one is so mad for it even if it is a big i touch thats bad ass can you imagine playing natzy zobeis on that thing. and remeber when the 1st gen of i touch came out it was almost the same price.

it is most likely my camera mic because i dont have an external mic which can plug into my camera.

@livetechaustralia no it is not running iphone os , its running a ipad os, people think its just a big ipod touch are wrong, first they rewrote all the os from scratch so the new processor would work on it, second they rearrange and rethought of the os.

well i dont know if thats the reason but if you watch the keynote by steve jobs and look carefully you will see him pick it up and hold it up, at that point his fingers “acidentally” touched the screen and the icons moved

the reason they didnt bring it to the edge is because your fingers would always accidentally touch the screen
